It runs from -30°C to 85°C without heaters, and its heated lens stops frost from forming during freezer-to-ambient transitions. Even at -25°C, it boots in under 15 seconds, compared with 45+ seconds for standard readers.

For frozen storage, we recommend the Heated Enclosure Kit (HEK-6X) to keep the internal temperature around 10°C in -45°C environments, using LT-T50 low-temp RFID tags for meat or packing-line tracking. Vertical antenna placement also helps reduce ice interference.
